Integrated Post Graduate Programme in Public Relations and Events
The programme is concerned with analyzing issues and problems that confront practicing professionals. It suggests a variety of approaches to resolving operational problems in the industry. The course provides students with an exciting and stimulating experience and serves to enhance their intellectual capabilities. Our distinctive approach enables them to develop communication, interpersonal, group working and learning skills in a way that encourages them to draw on both the theory and practice of business. Particular emphasis is placed on empowering students to learn to manage their own development and to build competence which helps them progress in their career. The course gives them the opportunity to spend time in professional business environments to experience how business executives respond to their day to day issues.
The course aims to provide students with an overview of the business world helping them to focus on area for specialization in the future. Throughout the course, students develop skills and techniques, personal qualities and attitudes which are essential to perform effectively at work. The course integrates academic study with development of business skills and professional training and equips students with a thorough knowledge of the business environment. The course adopts a student -centred approach. Students learn by analyzing and conducting case studies and investigating real problems. This methodology is incorporated in all units of the course. The course adopts a highly participative and interactive approach and has a strong emphasis on ‘learning by doing’. Students are evaluated through an intensive process of continuous assessment.

On successful completion of the first two years of the course, students will be eligible to gain entry to the Post Graduate Level of the programme.
10+2/HSC in any discipline
- Complete the last semester at Wigan & Leigh College, UK
- Top-up the qualification at universities in the UK, USA, Canada & Australia.
Each module will be assessed by an invigilated, time-bound assessment.
