Post Graduate Programme in Visual Communication
The Post Graduate Programme in Visual Communication is a multi-disciplinary course with a strong emphasis on Advertising, Visualization and Design Techniques. It attracts art graduates and mid-career professionals from different design disciplines.
The students are encouraged to develop an understanding of the Visual Media. The programme offers a comprehensive and structured approach to design.
The curriculum includes practical and theoretical modules which include research, communication and theories of design. Students choose subject-specific projects in which their creative work is supported by detailed research. They are required to submit a written dissertation or else make a presentation of their project.

The objective of the programme is to foster a reflective approach to the design process, which leads to a multi-disciplinary career.
The curriculum prepares students in the processes used to transmit ideas and concepts through visualization. Students learn content development, advertising strategies and learn to create effective communication. Career Opportunities
Students can choose from career options such as advertising, graphic designing, web designing, copy writing, corporate image planning, interactive multimedia, scripting, TV ad films, exhibition design, visual branding and window display in addition to a variety of options in art direction and design consultancy.
Students make choose projects that either have a direct link to their employment or professional opportunities or those which develop their personal skills base.

Assessment:
