The highly creative and demanding Advertising and Graphic Design Diploma is a combination of creativity, communication and business awareness.

This programme enables students to work as professionals in the advertising and design Industry. The integration of theory and practice within the programme aims to extend students’ imaginative, intellectual and analytical capabilities, where ideas are exchanged and developed through workshops, and practical live projects.

The School has strong links with the Industry and non-government organizations. A pilot project – ‘W Design Communications’ – has been initiated, which takes on Advertising & Design consultancies.

Career Opportunities

Students can choose from professional career options in visual communication, advertising, new media, web, architectural design, print, packaging, publishing, scripting TV ad films, copywriting, interactive multimedia, media production houses, (computer graphics), exhibition and retail design. Students can eventually reach positions such as Creative Director, Art Director, and Graphic Designer, Illustrators, Animators, Photographers. Recent Graduates have taken senior positions as Art Directors in leading advertising agencies in India, UK, Australia and US.

FACTFILE

On successful completion of the first two years of the course, students will be eligible to gain entry to the Post Graduate Level of the programme.
