The course content of the Advanced Diploma in Media course is structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of different media and media production techniques. It is especially designed to nurture talent and equip students with professional skills to enter a Media stream of their choice.
Course Aims
The course provides students with an encouraging environment for learning, professional skills development and experimentation. The emphasis in the course is on building a sound foundation in research, analysis and writing skills and then moving on to provide technical, practical and creative skills. At WLCI, the ethos is that of nurturing a complete individual. Constant personalized guidance through the personal tutorial system helps focus on individual personality development and identifying key strengths and weaknesses. Whilst developing qualities of teamwork, students are also encouraged to take up individual and Industry-driven projects to pave their entry into the working environment. The course is monitored and finely-tuned to meet the requirements of a dynamic Media Industry. Students are given internships with leading national newspapers, radio and television channels, production houses and the film industry to provide them with an exposure to the real- world work environment, professional ethics and a variety of career opportunities.

Assessment:
